The current strategic direction at the High Line is to reimagine the idea of public space; continue to maintain the High Line; and, to welcome and serve the diversity of New York City.

Friends of the High Line (FHL) provides virtually all of the park's operating budget and philanthropy accounts for approximately $13 million of a current annual operating budget of $15 million. Among the priorities of the Advancement team is the development of major and principal gift portfolios and the buildup of an effective prospect management team for the High Line.

The Director of Prospect Management & Development Operations is a new position at FHL that provides the exciting opportunity to implement strategies that will shape the future of the High Line at a pivotal point in its history. This position will partner with Development team and other staff to drive prospect management, identify and receive leads, and maintain functional systems for identifying and tracking prospects and donors. Additionally, the Director will review and strengthen reporting tools to ensure that research output is trackable, accessible and easily understood to meet current and future fundraising goals.
