Friends of the High Line raises 98% of the High Line's annual budget. Owned by the City of New York, the High Line is a public park maintained, operated, and programmed by Friends of the High Line, in partnership with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

The Executive Assistant is a full-time, year-round, non-exempt employee of Friends of the High Line (FHL). Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) and Vice President of Development (VPD), the Executive Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative support to the CAO and VPD as well as identifying and executing a variety of special executive-level projects in order to ensure departmental effectiveness and efficiency.

The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on all matters pertaining to the CAO and VPD.
