Manager, High Line Network

New York, United States · Planning & Design

Description

An initiative of Friends of the High Line, the High Line Network is a newly-formed group of infrastructure reuse projects and the people who are helping them come to life. The network seeks to help project leaders learn from each other so that these spaces can reach their full potential. Priorities include identifying social equity-focused practices that projects in all stages of development can implement; creating common metrics to measure projects’ social, environmental, and economic impact; sharing the network’s knowledge through best practice resources; and generating greater public awareness around the growing field of infrastructure reuse. Friends of the High Line, the nonprofit organization that founded, funds, and maintains the High Line in New York City, leads the network in close collaboration with project representatives.
